Saturday morning classes for ages 2–6. Beginner to intermediate level.

Saturday School is a four-hour program starting at 9:00 whose main focus is to teach English as a second language. Lessons are taught in a similar style to nursery / kindergarten programs but are more focused on language itself. Because it is a once-a-week program, our teachers make sure that students get the most out of it…and most importantly, have fun in the process! Starting with circle time, we go through phonics and grammar, seasonal themes and subjects, depending on the day. Students with limited or no English are welcome.

Saturday afternoon classes for elementary school students. Intermediate to advanced level.

Saturday School is a three-hour program for elementary school students. Children start their day by eating lunch with the younger students, which helps them grow as leaders—an important core value at GGIS. The program’s main focus is to maintain the English level usually acquired at GGIS by age six, and to prep for different kinds of English tests, such as Eiken. A certain level of English is required to join and will be checked before students are admitted.
